Position - Remedial Plumber

Industry – Water Hygiene/Treatment

Location - Essex

Salary/Package - £30,000 - £36,500+ (dependent on Experience) Van/Fuel Card, Career progression, PPE & Tools, OT available, Travel Time – Half Hour in the morning, the rest of the day is D2D.

My client provides solutions for water treatment and water hygiene in industrial, commercial, and domestic environments, specialising in legionella control and compliance, as well as the manufacturing of bespoke water treatment systems, and domestic softeners.

We are now looking for a Remedial Plumbing, located in or around Essex. If you are talented, flexible, and experienced in the reactive/remedials sector, we want to hear from you!

The applicant will work with various systems:

• Domestic hot and cold
• Plumbing systems in such as Humidification.
• EVAC, Softeners and Plant
• Pumps and Dosing Systems

Responsibilities will include:

• Clean and disinfect water tanks, domestic systems, and cooling systems.
• Have knowledge of flushing closed heating/chilled systems
• Descale water outlets/calorifiers.
• Service/inspect/fit TMV's.
• Inspect cold water storage tanks.
• Carry out various remedial works, such as dead-leg removal, water tank upgrades.
• Carry out regular PPM work, including temperature monitoring, sampling, shower head/hose cleaning and disinfection and inspection of water tanks.
• Complete service reports

You must have or hold:

• NVQ Level 2, ideally level 3 Plumbing
• Industry experience of 1/3 years within Water Hygiene, Water Treatment or Softeners
• Full UK Licence

We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
