Job Title: Service Engineer (Commercial/Industrial Gas Engineer)

Location: Burnley, Covering the Northwest & Yorshire

Salary/Package – £36,000 – £42,000, Door to door travel, Van or Car, Fuel Card, PPE & Tools, NO CALL OUT, overtime available, paid at 1.3 Mon – Fri, or X2 Sat/Sun & Bank Holidays. 25 days + Banks & more.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Engineer with a background in Industrial or Commercial Gas Engineering to join our Southwest service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and commissioning industrial gas-fired equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of industrial boilers, burners, and heating systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective repairs on gas-fired equipment.
• Commission and set up new industrial gas installations and systems.
• Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and customer communications.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients to ensure the smooth operation of their equipment.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to resolve complex issues and share knowledge.
• Travel across the Southwest region to attend service calls and maintain customer relationships.

You must have or hold:

• Experience as an Industrial Gas Engineer or similar role, ideally with experience in industrial boilers and burners.
• Recognized gas qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe registered, Codnco1, Cdga1 etc).
• Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided).
