Darwen
8am – 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and half working day Friday 8am to 12.30pm
£50,000 - £55,000
+ Overtime 1.5x base, Quarterly Bonus Scheme, 24 Days Holiday + Bank (Increased in Service), 4% Pension Scheme, £5000 Car Allowance, 45p a Mile Mileage Pay

We are on the lookout for a dynamitic Electrical Design and Software Engineer to help propel this growth.
The Role
We are adding to the already successful team and searching for an Electrical Design and Software Engineer who has exposure to software and controls – Specifically Siemens and Allen Bradley with EPlan being implemented shortly. You will take a hands-on approach to designing electrical systems and assisting with the maintenance, servicing and repair, also. You will be working closely with the customers, managing their expectations all the way through to delivery. This is a great opportunity to join a globally growing company with opportunities to travel overseas to visit sites.
Experience And Skills
- 3 Years Minimum Experience as an Electrical Engineer (Software/ Controls Focused)
- Experience within Electrical Manufacturing
- Experience of AutoCAD, 2D Exposure is Essential (EPlan is Desirable but not Essential, SEE is currently in place)
- Experience with Software Controls, PLC Programming
- HMI Programming and Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives
- Time Management
- Positive Attitude
- Excellent Communicator to Help Maintain and Build Customer Relations
- UK Full Driving License is Essential with Willingness to Travel in UK and Overseas
