Position – Swimming Pool Engineer
Industry - Commercial
Location – Kent (working the Southeast & home counties)
Salary/Package - £37,500 – £45,000 (Experience dependant), Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Tools, Expenses Card, Mobile/Technology, Holidays, & more
Client
My client specialises in design, construction, and maintenance of Swimming Pools, Spas, Saunas, and steam rooms for both residential and commercial clients.
Offering a range of services such as Swimming Pool Construction, Maintenance & Servicing, Refurbishment Projects, Plant room Services and Leak detection.
Due to additional contacts and works, we are looking to expand the team with a Commercial Swimming Pool Engineer.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of commercial swimming pools and associated plant equipment.
- Install and commission pool plant equipment, including filtration systems, dosing equipment, heat pumps, and UV systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (PWTAG guidelines).
- Provide detailed reports on site visits, including recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Liaise with clients to deliver excellent customer service and technical support.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
You must have or hold
- Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Engineer, preferably in commercial environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of swimming pool plant operations, water treatment systems, and mechanical/electrical equipment.
- PWTAG or Pool Plant Operator certification (desirable).
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
