My client is a maintenance company, with over 30 years history within the garage equipment sector working closely with electro/mechanical equipment. Due to continued growth and work load they are looking to recruit Field Service Engineers to join their engineering team working within their field based team to supply installation, services and repair on a wide range of Electro/Mechanical garage equipment covering West Yorkshire.
Field Service Engineer Garage Equipment
Location: West Yorkshire
£30,000 - £36,000 Salary (OTE of 40k-45k), Depending on Experience. Company van, over time, door to door travel, tablet, phone, work wear and PPE and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
5-day week, Monday to Friday with occasional overnight stays.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Carry out calibrations: diagnostic and installations on a wide range of garage equipment products – vehicle lifts, wheel and tyre, brake testers, gas analysers and smoke testers.
- Complete and submit accurate certs as required within the quality systems.
- Ensuring customers satisfaction is met.
- Adhere to laws and regulations in line with HSE standards in a workplace.
- Be prepared for potential over night stay and work overtime when needed.
- Ensure stock levels on van are maintained to ensure First Time Fix targets.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Good working knowledge and experience of field service engineering environment.
- Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
- Experience working with garage equipment is preferable.
- Be self-motivated and customer focussed.
- Able to understand and follow procedures, working to instructions and specified standards.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime and Saturdays as and when required.
- Hard working and committed to improving-
- Confident when troubleshooting on site
- Be prepared to work overtime and the occasional overnight stays away from home.
- Able to work under your own initiative.
- Full clean UK Drivers License
