Position: Electrician
Location: High Wycombe (with travel to client sites across the Southeast and Midlands)
Salary: £35,000–£42,000 DOE, Vehicle & Fuel card, Overtime available, plus many benefits
Purpose of the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our multidisciplinary technical services team. You’ll work across a variety of commercial and industrial sites delivering high-standard electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and compliance testing. You will support key infrastructure including HVAC systems, water treatment equipment, plant rooms, and compliance-critical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation and remedial works in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition).
- Perform testing and inspection duties (EICRs, periodic reports) to NICEIC standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults in power distribution, control systems, and field wiring.
- Support the installation and maintenance of water treatment systems (e.g. reverse osmosis, chemical dosing, pumps, UV disinfection).
- Provide electrical support and collaborate with HVAC engineers, plumbers, and water hygiene technicians.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance reports, risk assessments, and remedial documentation.
- Liaise with clients on-site to ensure minimal disruption and clear communication.
Must have or hold
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent apprenticeship.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Inspection and Testing. (Desirable)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) certified.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, fault finding, and compliance practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
