Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with experience in the Fire & Security industry to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee challenging yet rewarding projects valued up to £1,000,000 while driving excellence in project delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the successful delivery of projects within the Fire & Security industry, including Life Safety Systems, CCTV, and Access Control solutions.
- Managing the full project lifecycle with a particular focus on P&L (Profit & Loss) and cost management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project.
- Managing and motivating a multidisciplinary team to achieve project objectives while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Ensuring health and safety standards and compliance are adhered to across all project activities.
- Providing regular status reports to key stakeholders, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
- Continuously identifying improvements in project management procedures and ensuring innovation in the delivery of services.
Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Fire & Security industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of Life Safety Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire & Security systems.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple projects valued up to £1,000,000.
- Strong understanding of P&L and cost control principles.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across all levels effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- A professional project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) or willingness to work toward certification is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail and quality standards.
Day-to-day
Your typical day could include:
- Overseeing the execution of project plans and coordinating the activities of multiple teams or contractors.
- Preparing project schedules, budgets, and cost reports while ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Conducting on-site inspections of project progress and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Facilitating daily team meetings and resolving any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Engaging with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and manage their expectations with excellence.
- Liaising with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Tracking deliverables and maintaining meticulous records of project documentation.
