Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Fitter to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, both in the yard and on the road, attending to breakdowns. The successful candidate will work on a variety of vehicles and machinery, including plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, and vans. Responsibilities
- Fitting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a range of vehicles, including plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, and vans.
- Attending to roadside breakdowns and providing efficient tyre services to minimize downtime.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of tyres to ensure safety and compliance.
- Working in the yard to support general operations and assist with tyre-related tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter, particularly with commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of tyre fitting, repair, and maintenance for a variety of vehicle types.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, especially during breakdown situations.
- A valid driving license is essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.

Day-to-Day
- Start your day in the yard, preparing tools and equipment for the tasks ahead.
- Perform tyre inspections and replacements on vehicles and machinery in the yard.
- Respond to breakdown calls, traveling to various locations to provide on-site tyre services.
- Work on a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring all tyres are fitted and maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Maintain the company vehicle and ensure it is stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
