Injection Mould Setter (Night Shift)
Location: Southminster, Essex
Hours: Night Shift
Salary: £35,000 plus £5,000 night shift allowance

About the Role
Reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Engineer, the successful candidate will provide technical support to maximise production efficiency during the night shift. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth tool changes, machine setups, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes within a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform tool changes and setups with minimal downtime.
Start machines using setting sheets or stored data to achieve target cycle times and product quality.
Set up and adjust ancillary equipment such as conveyors, mould heaters, and dosers.
Troubleshoot and resolve injection moulding and tooling-related issues.
Maintain clean and organised tools and equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to strict quality and traceability protocols, particularly for medical device components.
Perform routine maintenance on injection moulding machines.
Skills & Experience Required
Apprenticeship or equivalent in injection moulding or a related field, or relevant hands-on experience.
Proven experience in injection moulding (medical device sector experience is desirable but not essential).
Comfortable inspecting parts using standard inspection tools.
Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent time-management, communication, and organisational skills.
Confident using MS Office applications.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment is advantageous.
