Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a dynamic and growing company. Covering a 50-mile radius from our depot, you will play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and servicing of powered access equipment.

Responsibilities
As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of powered access equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Providing excellent customer service while working on-site at client locations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out using the provided tablet.
- Adhering to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing powered access equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer will involve:
- Starting your day at 8:00 AM and finishing at 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Travelling to client sites within a 50-mile radius of the depot to carry out maintenance and repairs.
- Using your company-provided van, fuel card, phone, and tablet to manage your workload and communicate with the team.
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to minimise downtime for clients.
- Completing paperwork and updating records to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Occasionally working overtime to meet business needs, with plenty of opportunities available.
