We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. This role involves working on a wide range of plant machinery, providing expert maintenance and repair services across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex. Responsibilities
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
- Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
- Responding to breakdowns promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies while on-site and in the workshop.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant machinery, including hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines.
- Relevant qualifications in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred).
- A full UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Mobile Plant Fitter will involve:
- Traveling to client sites across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex to carry out maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to ensure machinery is back in operation quickly.
- Liaising with clients to provide updates on work progress and any additional requirements.
- Managing your workload efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of service.
- Ensuring your company van is stocked with essential tools and parts for the day’s tasks.
