Based in the MidlandsAre you an experienced Service and Commissioning Engineer looking to develop your career with a growing specialist BMS & HVAC company? You’ll work in a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, from attending service visits and reactive maintenance callouts to commissioning small project works and delivering solutions that improve energy efficiency for clients. The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS and HVAC controls systems.
- Diagnose, fault find, and repair BMS and associated control systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Commission, test, and hand over small project works, upgrades, and energy-saving initiatives.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers on system performance and optimisation.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with project and service teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and commissioning records.
The Candidate
- Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Proven hands-on experience with Trend BMS systems (other systems such as Siemens, Schneider, or Tridium Niagara advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC plant and building controls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
