Location: North West
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business specialising in the design, installation, service, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. The company has been operating for 40 years and works on high-profile commercial projects including NHS sites, hotels, and notable London venues.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and performing small works on a range of fire alarm systems across the North West, with the potential for national coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and complete small works on fire alarm systems
- Work on commercial properties including hospitals, hotels, and other key sites
- Use and maintain systems from manufacturers such as Kentec, Ctec, Advanced, Gent
- Follow company procedures for health & safety, quality, and compliance
- Participate in call-out rota (1 in 7 weeks)
- Travel as required for national projects
Working Hours
- Standard 40-hour workweek (flexible start/finish times)
- Overtime: Time & a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays
- Fixed-price project work
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire alarm service, maintenance, and small works
- Familiarity with Kentec, Ctec, Advanced, and Gent systems
- Ability to work on commercial sites and liaise with clients professionally
- Willingness to travel nationally when required
