About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading name in the security and surveillance industry, specialising in advanced CCTV and integrated security solutions.
In this role, you'll take ownership of developing new business opportunities across the Southwest region, building strong relationships with systems integrators, installers, consultants, and end users. You'll act as a key ambassador for the brand - promoting products, educating partners, and driving sustainable sales growth.
This position would suit someone with a proven background in CCTV or electronic security sales, who enjoys autonomy, technical engagement, and strategic relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
Promote security and surveillance solutions to integrators, installers, consultants, and end users.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and distribution networks.
Identify and follow up on new business opportunities, arranging client meetings and product presentations.
Deliver commercial and technical training in collaboration with channel partners.
Support product specifications and system design opportunities involving company solutions.
Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and vertical market plans.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events to represent the brand.
Maintain accurate CRM records, activity reports, and pipeline updates.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in CCTV, security systems, or surveillance technology (minimum 2 years).
Solid understanding of industry standards, integrator channels, and sector trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Commercially aware with strong negotiation and closing ability.
Self-motivated and proactive with a professional, consultative approach.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
