We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop-Based Plant Fitter to join our team at a leading main dealer of plant machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and more. Responsibilities
As a Workshop-Based Plant Fitter, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and excavators.
• Ensuring all machinery is serviced and maintained to the highest standards.
• Identifying and resolving mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a plant fitter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and excavators.
• Proficiency in diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).

Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:

• Inspecting and diagnosing plant machinery to identify faults or issues.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Collaborating with colleagues to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Keeping the workshop organized and ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Communicating effectively with the team and management to provide updates on progress.
