Trainee AV Engineer – Huntingdon
Salary: Minimum wage (regularly reviewed with merit-based increases)
Travel: Frequent UK travel & occasional overnight stays
Perks: 20 days holiday + company trips (Silverstone, Barcelona)About the Role
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing Audio-Visual installation and service company based in Huntingdon, is looking to appoint a Trainee AV Engineer to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager, hands-on, and keen to learn. AV experience is beneficial but not essential — full training and development will be provided, with clear progression to a full AV Engineer position.

The business delivers high-quality AV solutions across the residential, commercial, and marine sectors. No two days are the same — you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of systems and environments, working alongside highly skilled engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting engineers with AV installations, servicing, and maintenance
- Assisting across on-site projects throughout the UK
- Learning to configure, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment
- Working in diverse environments — including homes, commercial sites, and marine vessels
- Participating in occasional stay-away projects
What We’re Looking For
- A motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and build a long-term career
- Practical, reliable, and comfortable with hands-on work
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport (essential)
- Any previous experience or interest in AV, IT, electrics, or similar fields is advantageous
- Willingness to travel regularly and work occasional overnights
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required
