Fire & Security Installations
Location: Sheffield / Yorkshire / East Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Benefits: Bonus, Car Allowance, Hybrid, 22 days Holiday plus bank holidays increasing with service, Laptop, PhoneWe are a growing Fire & Security installation contractor, and due to continued expansion we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering fire alarm, CCTV, security system, and data installation projects. This role oversees projects from a financial, contractual, and technical perspective, ensuring successful delivery across new-build installation environments. You will manage subcontractor installation teams, coordinate engineers, and maintain high standards of compliance and project control.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage fire alarm, CCTV, intruder, access control, and data installation projects
Oversee each project financially, contractually, and technically from pre-start to handover
Coordinate subcontractor and in-house engineering teams (circa 20 engineers)
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification
Produce RAMS, attend site meetings, and maintain compliance with industry standards
Handle client communication, progress reporting, and commercial documentation
Support tendering, variations, and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Ensure installation quality meets regulatory and accreditation requirements
Experience:
Proven experience managing Fire & Security or electrical/data installation projects
Strong commercial and contractual project management background
Experience working with subcontractor teams and coordinating multiple projects
Understanding of industry standards relating to fire alarms, CCTV, and security systems
Experience delivering new-build installation projects (no maintenance)
Knowledge & Skills:
Technical understanding of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, security, and data systems
Strong organisational, communication, and client-facing skills
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Competence in producing RAMS, project reports, and commercial paperwork
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project-related tools
