Location – Cambridge
Salary / Package - £28,000 – £35,000, Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Tools, Call Out Optional, OT Available, Paid Travel Time & More.

Purpose of the role
This hybrid role combines sales, installation, and after-sales service of water softening and filtration systems across domestic, commercial, and light industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying customer needs, providing tailored water treatment solutions, and ensuring systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
The servicing, maintenance, and installation of a wide range of water softening equipment, including Fleck, Clack, Harvey’s, and Autotrol systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on sale leads.
- Conduct site surveys and water quality assessments to specify suitable softening or filtration solutions.
- Prepare detailed quotations and technical proposals.
- Deliver product demonstrations and build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Collaborate with the internal sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements and emerging market trends.
- Support technical training and product updates when required
- Service, maintain, and install water softeners and filtration systems (domestic and commercial).
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of systems, including Fleck, Clack, Harvey’s, and Autotrol.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers.
- Complete job reports, service documentation, and communicate effectively with the office team.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Always represent the company professionally.
You Must Have or Hold
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing
- 2 years’ experience servicing or installing water softeners
- Full UK Licence
Desirable
- Experience with RO (reverse osmosis) and filtration systems.
- Water hygiene or Legionella awareness training (advantageous).
