The Role
We are partnering with a well-established Fire & Security provider in the South West seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for bringing in new business, developing existing accounts, and cross-selling the full range of Fire & Security solutions. You will manage the full sales lifecycle - from generating enquiries through to supporting a smooth handover to the installation team.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target and secure new business across the South West.
Manage existing customer accounts and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
Present and promote Fire, CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and integrated systems.
Oversee the full sales process from enquiry, site survey and quotation to pre-installation handover.
Work closely with design, service and installation teams.
Maintain CRM records and provide accurate pipeline reporting.
Build strong long-term relationships with commercial, industrial and public-sector clients.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in Fire & Security sales, business development or account management.
Strong understanding of Fire and Security systems or similar technical background.
Ability to manage the full sales journey end-to-end.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-driven, organised and able to work independently across the region.
Location
South West (field-based with regional travel).
