My client, a leading specialist in Building Management Systems, is seeking a skilled BMS Static Service Engineer to join their team on a prestigious static site in Cambridge. In this position, you will be the on-site expert—ensuring smooth system performance, resolving technical issues, and supporting the client with clear communication and energy-saving insights. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics, and reactive repairs on BMS control systems.
- Provide a first-class customer experience through clear communication, ownership of tasks, and consistent high-quality workmanship.
- Promote energy efficiency, offering guidance and recommendations to help reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
- Produce accurate, timely service reports and technical documentation.
- Identify further service opportunities, prepare field quotations, and pass qualified leads to internal teams.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external service partners to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and site work meet all safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience working with Trend BMS systems.
- Strong technical ability with a track record in diagnosing and repairing control systems.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the confidence to advise clients and recommend solutions.
- Solid understanding of health & safety practices and keen attention to detail.
- A proactive team player with a flexible, solutions-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with energy management principles and technologies.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
