About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding Water Treatment division based in London. This is a key role for a motivated individual with a background in water treatment, mechanical pre-commissioning, and system flushing who wants to be part of a fast-growing, technically strong team.

You will be responsible for preparing new and existing water systems for operation, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with current water hygiene and building standards before handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning cleaning of closed water systems (LTHW, CHW) including dynamic flushing, biocide dosing, and chemical cleaning
• Carry out system chlorination and disinfection in line with BS 8558 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Take water samples and interpret results to ensure quality and compliance
• Prepare pre-commissioning reports and flushing logs
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, flushing schematics, and system designs
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate works on-site
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with RAMS and industry standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in pre-commissioning cleaning and water treatment of closed loop and domestic systems
• Knowledge of BSRIA BG29, BG50, and BS 8558 standards
• Valid CSCS/ECS card and relevant site safety qualifications
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving license
