AV Lead Project Engineer

08:30 – 17:00 Monday - Friday

The Role:

To lead with the installation, commissioning and servicing of AV systems within corporate and hospitality environments.

Key duties include:

• Carry out the installation of AV hardware including control systems, projectors, screens, cabling, cameras, microphones and speakers within corporate and hospitalityenvironments.
• Build data racks to a high standard.
• Assist with conducting site surveys.
• Lead junior engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Attend service & maintenance visits where required.
• To carry out the configuration of audio DSPS and control systems (Training can be provided).
• To commission and test installed systems.
• Make alterations to DSP configurations where required.
• Configuration of network switches and routers (Netgear, Cisco)
• Carry out firmware updates and upload prewritten programme files to control systems.
• Provide necessary product training to clients and handover once completed.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Essential Qualities and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years’ AV installation experience.
• Knowledge of control systems and DSPs (Extron QSYS, Crestron, Biamp etc.) (Commissioning experience preferred.
• The ability to pass security vetting / DBS checks.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home where required.
• Full UK Driving License

Preferred Qualities and Skills:

• CTS certification
• Manufacturer certifications with Extron, Biamp, QSYS, Crestron or Dante
