Profile
A specialist engineering company providing installation, maintenance, and servicing of swimming pool plant systems, filtration, and electrical equipment for commercial and private pools.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Trainee Electrician or Junior Engineer (NVQ Level 2 or above) to join our Service team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop practical skills in electrical systems, pump systems, filtration plant, and pool automation.
Purpose of the role
You will work alongside experienced engineers assisting with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of swimming pool plant and electrical systems across commercial and residential sites.
This is a hands-on role with excellent training and progression opportunities within a specialist engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and maintenance of swimming pool plant equipment
- Support engineers with electrical wiring and control panels
- Work with pumps, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment, and control systems
- Help diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with UK electrical regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle where applicable
- Complete job reports and documentation
You must have or hold
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Electrical Installation / Engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
- Good problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience working with pumps, motors, or plant equipment
- Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
