Covering: Yorkshire (South, West & North focus)
Salary: £42,000 (DOE) + Excellent PackageA family-run materials handling company that’s continuing to grow and expand its presence across the region is looking to add an experienced Service Engineer. They supply, service, and maintain a wide range of materials handling equipment from multiple leading brands, supporting a strong and loyal customer base.
They are now looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality service and maintenance across Yorkshire.
The Role
- Service, repair, and maintain a range of materials handling equipment
- A strong focus on counterbalance forklifts and Flexi articulated trucks
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Provide excellent customer service while working independently on-site
- Cover a regional patch across Yorkshire (primarily South, West, and North)
About You
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer / Forklift Engineer
- Strong multi-skilled background (mechanical & electrical)
- Electrical bias is advantageous
- Experience working with counterbalance forklifts and/or Flexi trucks is highly desirable
- Confident working independently and managing your own workload
- Customer-focused with a professional and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence required
