MFD Field Service Engineer

£30,000 – £35,000 DOE + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

The Opportunity

I’m currently working with a well-established and growing managed print and document solutions provider who are looking to add an experienced MFD Field Service Engineer to their team, covering Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The business is primarily a Toshiba dealership, with a smaller install base of Develop devices, and they have recently partnered with Ricoh, making this an exciting time to join as they continue to expand their offering.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of MFDs across a varied client base. This is a customer-facing role requiring both strong technical ability and excellent service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair MFDs on-site across your territory
• Install and configure new devices, including network setup
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
• Support a mixed fleet, primarily Toshiba, with some Develop and Ricoh machines
• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times
• Manage your own workload and schedule effectively

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in MFD / photocopier service and repair
• Manufacturer trained – ideally Toshiba or Ricoh (other manufacturers considered)
• Strong networking skills (installation, configuration, connectivity)
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional and customer-focused approach
