We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Dursley. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing vehicle electrical systems across a range of vehicles. This role would suit someone with strong diagnostic skills and a background in heavy vehicle or commercial automotive electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical faults and repair wiring systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, lighting, sensors, and control systems in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Install and configure new electrical systems, including lighting, CANbuscomponents, CCTV, weighing systems, and telematics.
- Install and test electrical components and wiring harnesses in vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs and installations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally in commercial or heavy vehicle sectors.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including CANbusand multiplex wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Competent with diagnostic software and tools.
