Field Service Engineer - CNC Routers & Laser Machines

Location: (UK Field-Based) Preferably Centrally Based
Salary: Circa £40,000 experience dependent

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with experience in CNC routers and laser machines to join a growing service team. The role will involve installing, commissioning and maintaining specialist machinery including 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, CO₂ lasers and fibre laser systems.

This is a field-based position, typically covering your local region, although occasional UK travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of CNC routers and laser machines
• Servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Warranty work and preventative maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Ensuring machines are fully operational and performing to customer requirements
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service

Requirements

• Experience working with CNC routers (flatbed / flathead machines)
• Knowledge of 3-axis or 5-axis router systems
• Experience with CO₂ or fibre laser machines
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
• Customer-focused with a professional approach
• Full UK driving licence
