BMS Business Development Manager
Location: Northeast England & Scotland
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 base + £90,000 OTE + Company Car/Allowance + Private Healthcare + moreRole overview
You will be responsible for driving new business and developing existing client relationships across the Northeast of England and Scotland, promoting building management and smart building solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities across the region
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Lead meetings with both prospective and existing customers
- Support and contribute to tenders and large-scale opportunities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams on regional and national projects
- Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and roadshows
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or B2B sales
- Background in BMS, smart buildings, FM, or related technical sectors preferred
- Strong ability to generate leads and close new business
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing a regional territory
- Full UK driving licence
