Industry – Oil & Lubricant
Location – Elgin
Salary/Package - £33,000 - £36,000 (DOE), Company Pension/Up to 7.5%, On-Site Parking, Perks after probation, & more
Purpose Of the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking HR Advisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is approachable, resilient, and passionate about supporting both employees and management across a busy operational environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a calm and empathetic demeanour, with the confidence to handle challenging situations professionally and sensitively. You will play a key role in delivering practical HR support, employee relations guidance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
*Experience within the Oil & Lubricants industry would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Support employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation
- Support training and development initiatives across the business
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment
You must have or hold
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or similar HR role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm, empathetic, and approachable nature
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied workload
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- CIPD qualification would be desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Technology/Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Full UK Licence
