Provisioning Specialist

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Provisioning Specialist to join a growing telecoms operations team in South Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in telecoms provisioning or service delivery who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of customer projects from start to finish.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, technically capable, and confident managing multiple priorities at once. The successful candidate will act as the key point of contact throughout the provisioning lifecycle, working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure services are delivered accurately and on time.

The position offers a varied workload across voice and connectivity services, including provisioning VoIP platforms such as Cisco Webex and Gamma Horizon, coordinating customer orders, troubleshooting provisioning issues, and ensuring service delivery targets are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end customer orders from validation through to delivery and handover
• Coordinating project kick-off calls and maintaining clear communication throughout
• Tracking multiple concurrent orders while meeting agreed timelines and SLAs
• Configuring and provisioning telephony solutions including Webex and Horizon
• Delivering connectivity orders and resolving provisioning-related issues
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to keep projects progressing
• Maintaining accurate records and internal system data
• Supporting service changes, renewals, and additional requirements
• Contributing to process improvements, operational reporting, and workflow enhancements

There is also an opportunity for occasional hands-on deployment work, including pre-configuring routers and installing telephony hardware on customer sites.

Experience Needed

• Previous experience in telecoms provisioning, service delivery, or project coordination
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive approach with the confidence to drive accountability
• High attention to detail, particularly around technical configurations and order accuracy
• A process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable experience includes:

• Configuration experience with Cisco Webex and/or Gamma Horizon
• Knowledge of VoIP technologies such as SIP, hosted telephony, and number porting
• Experience with connectivity services
• On-site installation of telephony hardware and routers
