Mechanical Service Engineer - CNC Machine Tools

Location: Midlands based (UK travel required as well as occasionally Ireland and Europe)

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 Basic + OT + Door-to-Door pay + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (variable)

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, installing, and repairing a wide range of CNC machine tools at customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• CNC machine tool servicing and preventative maintenance



• Mechanical fault finding and diagnosis



• Ball screwand linear guide replacementand spindle exchanges



• Machine installation, geometric alignment and commissioning



• Customer support and technical problem solving

About You

• Qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related discipline



• Strong experience working on CNC machine tools, particularly lathes, mills and machining centres



• Experience with machine geometry, alignments, and precision mechanical repairs



• Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Okuma controls would be advantageous



• Willingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional European travel
