An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and qualified Service Engineer (Electrical) to join a growing engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities


As a Service Engineer, you will:



  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on customer installations


  • Diagnose faults and implement reactive maintenance solutions efficiently


  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery


  • Maintain and optimise operational systems to improve efficiency and minimise downtime


  • Support both company-owned and third-party installations where required


  • Participate in an established 24-hour callout rota


Candidate Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will need:



  • ONC/OND, City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent


  • Minimum three years' industrial electrical experience as a time-served technician


  • Strong knowledge of ComAp and Deep Sea generator controllers, including programming and diagnostics


  • Experience fault-finding on electrical control panels


  • Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings


  • Good IT skills, including competency with Microsoft Office applications


  • Full UK driving licence


Working Hours


Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

This role will involve weekend working and occasional out-of-hours duties. Participation in a 24-hour callout rota is required.
