Project CAD Coordinator
Location: South Cheshire
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 plus company bonus, pension, healthcare and 30 days holiday (including statutory days)
Are you a driven technical professional with a passion for delivering smart, economical engineering solutions? We are looking for a Project CAD Coordinator to join our dynamic team, representing a UK market-leading manufacturer of pumps and pumping systems. We provide innovative products and services across a wide range of industries and applications throughout the UK.
The Role
Your primary focus will be on Adoptable Pumping Stations, where systems are designed to meet regulatory requirements for future handover to local water authorities.
As a Project CAD Coordinator, you will take approved designs and develop them into comprehensive technical drawing packages. You will learn and apply industry regulations, manage submissions for approval, and coordinate amendments through to final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings
- Produce technical drawing packs for approval submissions
- Provide technical support to site engineers
- Prepare, maintain and manage documentation, files, and O&M manuals
- Monitor and communicate commercial trends and market requirements
- Support customer enquiries, build strong client relationships, and encourage customer loyalty
- Manage design revisions and approval processes through to completion
About You
- A general understanding of mechanical and engineering principles is essential
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce accurate technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
- Excellent organisational and workload management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A flexible and collaborative approach to work
- Confidence in handling technical enquiries and supporting engineering teams
