Company Overview:

We are an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of packaging machinery, specializing in multi-head weighing and product inspection lines for the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) food industry. With over 100 years of industry experience, our company employs over 30 staff here in the UK.

Position:

Title: Field Service Engineer

Bias: Electrical

Responsibilities:

• Service, installation, repair, breakdown & training of capital equipment
• Reading electrical diagrams,
• Fault-finding on PLCs
• To wire & rewire into a control panel
• Working on 3-phase & single-phase motors
• Understanding of actuators
• HMI – Inputs & Outputs
• Networking through PLC
• Change IO cards
• Run ethernet cables
• Change IP addresses

Requirements

• Engineers will likely stay away from home 2 nights per week.
• Will need some form of electrical qualification
• Preferred to have Field service experience within capital equipment
• On-target earnings with overtime and basic salary could exceed £50,000.
