North West
£40,000-£45,000 + Company Vehicle + Door-to-Door Pay + PensionAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering exciting commercial and low-carbon projects across the North West?
Our client is an established engineering business with over 20 years of experience delivering mechanical and electrical solutions across the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to support the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on a wide range of projects.
The Role
Working across commercial sites throughout the North West, you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning and testing of electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and commissioning commercial electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Carrying out containment, wiring and equipment installation
- Testing, fault finding and system verification
- Producing accurate documentation and commissioning records
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients
- Supporting the successful delivery of commercial building services projects
What We're Looking For
- Experience installing and commissioning commercial electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding and testing skills
- Ability to work from electrical drawings and schematics
- Good understanding of current electrical standards and Health & Safety
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (preferred)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
