Location: Lancashire & North West (Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Guide Security Services is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality installations, servicing, and maintenance across a range of fire and security systems, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service, and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
- Diagnose faults and attend emergency call-outs.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Complete installations ranging from small upgrades to large-scale projects.
- Produce accurate electronic job sheets, service reports and timesheets.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify opportunities for additional works where appropriate.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and current British Standards.
- Attend training courses and company meetings to develop your skills.
Requirements
- 2–5 years' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
- Proven experience installing, servicing and commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards.
- Experience with manufacturers such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Axis, Samsung, Morley, Advanced and Kentec is desirable.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
