Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE)

About the Company

Our client is an award-winning Fire & Security and Telecommunications specialist with over 16 years of industry experience. They have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality solutions to commercial clients and are continuing to grow across the South East.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their team, covering sites across Kent, South & East Sussex and Surrey area.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial customer sites.

You'll work independently throughout your designated area, ensuring systems remain compliant, fully operational and delivering excellent customer service on every visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm and security systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Produce accurate service reports and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Participate in the call-out rota when required.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with engineers who have experience servicing Fire & Security systems and who take pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.

You should have experience working with some of the following manufacturers:

• Honeywell
• Texecom
• Paxton
• Hikvision

You will also have:

• Previous experience within a Fire & Security Service Engineer role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
