Senior Quantity Surveyor – Façade / External Envelope

Location: Based in London | Projects Nationwide
Salary: £60,000 – £100,000 + Package (DOE)

A growing specialist contractor with a current turnover of £20M, delivering high-quality external envelope solutions across the UK.

With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, the business is now expanding its internal commercial team to support projects ranging from £50k to £15M.

Specialisms include:

• Cladding systems
• Curtain walling & windows
• Balconies
• Full external envelope packages

The Role

This is an opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor or Senior QuantitySurveyor to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in the commercial delivery of façade packages.

The role will have a strong focus on subcontractor management, working closely with both main contractors and specialist subcontractors across multiple projects.

You’ll be based in London, with projects located nationwide, so flexibility to travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of façade / envelope projects
• Work closely with subcontractors – procurement, payments, and accounts
• Liaise with main contractors and project teams
• Prepare valuations, cost reports, and forecasts
• Identify, price, and manage variations
• Support final accounts and project close-out
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and maximise margin

What They’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Background working with main contractors and/or subcontractors
• Experience within façade, cladding, glazing, or external envelope (preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project lifecycles
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
