We're working with a well-established Managed Service Provider based in Great Harwood that's looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to its growing technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business where you'll work with a wide range of clients, develop your technical skills, and gain exposure to diverse IT environments.
The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you'll provide remote and onsite support to a varied client base, troubleshooting technical issues, managing IT infrastructure, and delivering excellent customer service. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and continuous learning.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing 1st and 2nd Line technical support to business clients.
Troubleshooting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking issues.
Managing user accounts, permissions and security.
Supporting desktop, laptop and server environments.
Escalating complex issues where required while taking ownership through to resolution.
Assisting with hardware installations, software deployments and IT projects.
Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.What We're Looking For
At least 2 years' experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Exchange.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.Desirable Skills
Azure or Entra ID exposure.
Intune and Endpoint Management.
Hyper-V or VMware.
Backup solutions and cybersecurity awareness.
Relevant Microsoft or CompTIA certifications.What's On Offer?
