CNC Field Service Engineer

Midlands Based | Regional (Occasional National Travel) | £40,000-£50,000 DOE + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a CNC Field Service Engineer to join a growing machine tool business supporting customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety and working with a wide range of CNC machine tools and customers.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, breakdown repair, installation and commissioning of CNC machine tools at customer sites across the UK. Most work is within a two-hour radius of the Midlands, with occasional overnight stays fully expensed.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CNC milling and turning centres.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Install and commission new CNC machine tools.
• Provide excellent customer support and technical advice on site.
• Complete service documentation and reports.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a CNC service or CNC maintenance role.
• Experience working on CNC milling and turning centres.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (Engineers with either an electrical or mechanical bias are encouraged to apply).
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls is preferred.
