About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chemical Water Treatment Sales & Analysis Engineer to join a growing and respected organisation supplying innovative chemical water treatment solutions across the East Midlands & UK.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong technical understanding of water treatment chemistry who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, solving technical problems and developing new business opportunities.
You'll inherit an established customer base while also identifying opportunities to grow the region and maximise sales.
Working from home and travelling throughout your designated territory, you'll become a trusted advisor to customers across a variety of commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of customers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to achieve sustainable sales growth.
- Carry out on-site water treatment surveys, inspections and chemical analysis.
- Recommend appropriate water treatment programmes and chemical solutions.
- Monitor water systems and provide technical advice to ensure optimum performance and compliance.
- Produce accurate technical reports and customer recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and technical expertise.
- Develop and implement a regional business development plan.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer support.
- Maintain accurate records using the company's CRM system
You must have or Hold
- Degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Knowledge of cooling towers, closed systems and steam boiler treatment.
- Familiarity with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
