We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Building Services and Facilities Management contractor looking to expand their presence across Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who already has strong relationships within schools, colleges, universities and academy trusts.
The Role
You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new Hard FM maintenance contracts across the Education sector, developing long-term relationships with key decision makers and driving sustainable business growth.
Working closely with technical and bid teams, you'll manage opportunities from initial introduction through to contract award.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the Education sector.
- Develop relationships with Estates Directors, Facilities Managers, School Business Managers, Academy Trusts and Local Authorities.
- Win Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive Hard FM contracts.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract award.
- Work alongside bid and technical teams to produce successful tender submissions.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting process.
- Represent the business at client meetings, networking events and industry functions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience selling Hard FM services.
- Strong track record of winning new business within the Education sector.
- Existing network of contacts within schools, colleges, universities, academy trusts or local authorities.
- Good understanding of HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical maintenance services.
- Experience with public sector tenders and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a genuine passion for developing new business.
