BMS Business Development Manager

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £60,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + 1% Sales Bonus + Benefits

The Role

My client is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven BMS Business Development Manager to help grow their presence across London and the Home Counties.

You will be responsible for developing new business, managing key client relationships and promoting BMS solutions focused on energy efficiency, building optimisation and decarbonisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new BMS business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and FM/property organisations.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
• Promote BMS and energy efficiency solutions.
• Develop strategic partnerships and expand the company’s market presence.
• Achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
• Work closely with internal engineering and project teams.

Requirements

• Proven sales/business development experience within BMS, BEMS, HVAC controls or building services.
• Strong understanding of BMS and building controls.
• Proven ability to generate and convert new business.
• Confident dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and target driven.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Package

• £60,000 basic salary
• £6,000 car allowance
• 1% sales bonus on completed projects, subject to margin target
