Service Engineer
Territory: UK-wide – predominantly Yorkshire, East Anglia & the East Midlands
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE + company van, fuel card, door to door travel, PPE, tools, uniform, phone, private pension and 25 days + bank holidays

Looking for a role where no two days are the same?

If you're an experienced Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or hands-on Engineer looking for something a little different, this could be worth a look.

We're working with a specialist business operating within the vehicle wash and water treatment sector, and they're looking for an Engineer to join their growing team.

This isn't a role where you'll be sat in a workshop every day doing the same job.

You'll be out on customer sites installing, servicing, commissioning and fault-finding specialist equipment, with the opportunity to develop your knowledge across vehicle wash recycling systems, reverse osmosis, water softeners and more.

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll be working on a range of specialist systems, including:

• Vehicle wash water recycling systems, Reverse osmosis (RO) systems, Water softeners
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Servicing and preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs
• Wiring switches and carrying out electrical work
• Building and assembling equipment in the factory when required

The role is predominantly field-based, with most of the work across Yorkshire, East Anglia and the East Midlands, although there will be some wider UK travel and overnight stays.

What We're Looking For

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has done this exact job before.

We're looking for an Engineer who is technically minded, practical and wants to learn.

You could come from a background such as:

• Service Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Commissioning
• Water Treatment
• Pump Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Equipment
• Vehicle Wash Equipment

An electrical qualification or electrical bias would be a big advantage, and experience with RO, water treatment or vehicle wash systems would be desirable.

However, the right attitude and engineering ability are more important than ticking every single box.

Full UK driving licence required and ideally you will be based in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire or the East Midlands.
