Responsibilities As a Hire Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Handling incoming calls and providing exceptional customer service.
• Managing on-hires and off-hires efficiently and accurately.
• Performing administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Coordinating with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assisting with any additional tasks as required to support the business.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and attention to detail.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Competence in using computer systems and software for record-keeping and communication.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a Hire Controller will include:

• Answering and managing customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Processing hire requests, including scheduling equipment deliveries and collections.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records of hires and returns.
• Liaising with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery.
• Resolving customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Supporting the team with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
