Are you a BMS Service or Commissioning Engineer with experience working on Schneider systems, looking to join an established and growing controls specialist?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially strong, independently owned business delivering integrated Building Management System (BMS) solutions across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors.

With continued growth, the business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an engineer who has experience working on Schneider BMS platforms, alongside some exposure to Trend and/or Tridium Niagara systems.

The role will involve a mixture of commissioning new and refurbished installations, servicing existing systems, fault finding and optimising BMS performance. You'll work across a varied portfolio of customer sites, providing technical support and ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.

The Role

• Commission and configure new and refurbished Schneider BMS installations, ensuring systems operate in line with project specifications and sequences of operation.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service visits and fault finding across existing BMS installations.
• Diagnose faults within controllers, field devices, HVAC plant and communication networks, implementing effective technical solutions.
• Undertake software modifications, control strategy adjustments and system optimisation to improve performance and energy efficiency.
• Work with Schneider BMS platforms, with additional experience of Trend and/or Tridium Niagara systems beneficial.
• Support the integration of BMS with HVAC, lighting, metering and other building services.
• Complete commissioning documentation, service reports and technical records to a high standard.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including system demonstrations and handover where required.

The Candidate

• Experience in BMS service, commissioning or a combination of both.
• Good working knowledge of Schneider BMS systems.
• Some experience with Trend and/or Tridium Niagara platforms.
• Ability to fault-find, diagnose system issues and carry out software modifications.
• Understanding of HVAC plant, control strategies and associated building services.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Electrical qualification or relevant engineering background preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
