Technical Project Manager

Leeds  
£30,000 - £45,000 + Overtime

The Company:

A technical events production company providing sound, lighting and video equipment and operation to corporate events across the UK such as conferences, award shows and product launches.

The Role:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team and manage the event production process from start to finish. In this role, you will take full responsibility for logistics management, budgeting, and ensuring client expectations are met. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering high-quality events that exceed our clients' expectations.

Key duties include:

  • Taking initial client brief, managing expectations, and ensuring achievability.
  • Specifying sound, lighting, video, and staging equipment required for each event.
  • Producing quotations while considering target profit margins and presenting them to clients.
  • Organising and managing logistics, such as transportation and crewing.
  • Allocating in-house equipment and assisting the procurement team with any orders for sub-hire equipment.
  • Overseeing technicians on-site to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Remaining presentable at all times and acting as a point of contact for clients throughout events.
  • Managing health and safety protocols.
  • Managing project budgets to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Attending weekly team meetings in the office.
  • Ensuring invoices are raised post-event.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Experience in Technical Project/Production Management within the events sector.
  • Previous experience as an AV Technician.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Preferred skills and attributes:

  • Experience in managing the production of corporate events.

Package details:

  • A salary ranging between £30K- £45K, depending on experience.
