Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a busy, hands-on environment? We are seeking a Security Administrator to join our team and support our operations, working closely with the Senior Security Administrator, Head of Security, and Operations Manager.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, helping you develop your skills and grow in your career.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Project setup: Creating and maintaining job files in Simpro.
- Procurement: Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Workbook management: Maintaining and updating project workbooks alongside the Security Administrator.
- Invoicing & financial tasks: Processing small works invoices and managing the purchase ledger.
- Job documentation: Preparing and updating job sheets.
- Returns: Coordinating and managing returned goods.
- Timesheets: Collecting and recording engineers’ timesheets for payroll and invoicing.
- Stock monitoring: Tracking stock levels and reporting as needed.
- Quotes: Logging new quote requests into the system.
This role offers variety and exposure across the administrative and operational functions of the team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in financial administration.
- Proficient in IT, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Educated to at least GCSE level in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
- Confident in written, verbal, and numerical communication.
- Professional and friendly on the phone.
- Proactive, with a drive to develop your career.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experienced in a busy office environment (preferred).
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Willing to learn about legal and regulatory compliance within the fire and security sector.
