Position: Service Engineer

Location: Midlands

Salary: £35,000 per year

Role Requirements:

• Electrical with mechanical understanding.


• Experience with industrial Checkweighers/weigh price labelers, metal detection, vision inspection systems, and other packaging machinery/FMCG production.


• Responsibilities include commissioning new machinery, breakdowns, service, installation, and repair.


• National position coverage.


• Ability to read electrical drawings and fault-find.


• PLC fault-finding skills.


• 2 nights away per week.


• Dealing with HMI inputs and outputs.


• Good diagnostic experience.


• Ability to read electrical diagrams.


• Technical and proactive approach.


• Typically, one service visit per day.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds qualification or substantial experience in the relevant field.


• Electrical qualification level 2
