Technical Production Manager
Derby
£40,000
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays + pension + overtime + annual profit share + paid expenses
The Company:
A creative technical event production company specialising in creating memorable corporate events, experiential events and product launches that provide their clients with unforgettable experiences.
We are now looking for a Technical Production Manager to join the team, managing the production of live, virtual and hybrid events.
Position Overview:
Taking full responsibility for the end to end production of corporate events including conferences, award ceremonies and product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discussing client requirements and expectations for events and managing the brief taking process.
- Specifying any staging and AV requirements for each project.
- Building proposals and quotations and presenting these to clients.
- Dealing with the allocation of in-house audio visual equipment along with liaising with external rental houses to manage any needs for procurement.
- Management of client accounts, building relationships and ensuring client satisfaction to increase the probability of repeat business.
- Management of project budgets taking responsibility for the profit and loss of each event.
- Creation of health and safety documentation.
- Managing multiple projects at a time.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of AV requirements for each event – a background as an AV Technician would be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand client’s requirements and manage expectations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on virtual or hybrid events would be beneficial but not essential.
